New routes
Newly opened

Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou are now regular bookings for us — often our cheapest long-haul fares out of Auckland, and a natural add-on to an India trip.

ShanghaiBeijingGuangzhouHong Kong

Fiji

Three hours. The easiest escape from Auckland.

Australia

Every major city, most days of the week.

United Kingdom

With a stopover worth building the trip around.

How our community actually travels

The bookings a website can't handle on its own.

Comparison sites are built for one person with one bag and fixed dates. Most of what we book looks nothing like that.

Special assistance

Travelling with elderly parents

We request wheelchair and special assistance with the airline at every stop, not just the first one, and we pick routings with connections long enough to actually make. If someone needs help at Auckland, at the transit airport and on arrival, that's three separate requests — we make all three.

Group fares

Multi-generation family bookings

Eight to twenty seats, three generations, mixed ages and different return dates. Group fares work differently from individual tickets and often beat them. But they need a person to build. This is our normal week, not an exception.

Unaccompanied minors

Children flying alone

Unaccompanied minor paperwork, airline age rules that vary by carrier, and routings chosen for the fewest handovers. We'll tell you which airlines handle it well on the India routes and which to avoid.

Student fares

Students to and from India

Student fares often carry a bigger baggage allowance and more flexible change rules — useful when semester dates move. Works both ways: Kiwi students heading over, and Indian students studying in Auckland going home.

Excess baggage

Moving home, not just visiting

Relocating means excess baggage, and paying at the airport is the most expensive way to do it. Pre-purchased allowance is far cheaper. For anything beyond that we'll point you to freight rather than pretend a suitcase will do.

Wedding travel

Weddings and large groups

Ten or more people travelling to the same wedding, often from several cities and on different dates, with one person coordinating it. Held group space, staged deposits and one person coordinating it — rather than twenty separate bookings that all need changing.

Note: special assistance, unaccompanied minor services and group space are all requested from and confirmed by the airline — we arrange and chase them, but the airline sets the rules and the fees. We'll tell you exactly what's confirmed before you pay.

Why Indo Kiwi

A quiet obsession with getting you there — properly.

Corridor we know better than anyone
01

Contracted fares, not screen-scraped ones

Our airline and consolidator agreements price the Auckland–India corridor below what you'll find yourself. When the public fare is genuinely better, we'll say so.

02

Built for the way Indian-Kiwi families travel

Multi-generation bookings, seats together, extra baggage, elderly parents needing assistance, a Delhi stopover on the way to Amritsar. This is our normal.

03

One person, start to finish

You'll deal with someone who remembers your name and your itinerary — reachable on WhatsApp when you're standing in a terminal, not a ticket queue.

Festival travel

The dates everyone wants. Booked long before everyone books.

Festival travel is the hardest thing to book well, because the whole community wants the same fortnight. Here's honestly how far ahead each one needs to be booked from Auckland.

Diwali

Extreme demand
October – November · All India

The single biggest travel event we handle. Demand comes from the entire diaspora at once and fares climb steadily from about four months out. If you book in September for Diwali, you have already missed the good fares.

Most of these festivals follow lunar or luni-solar calendars, so the exact dates shift each year — we've given the usual month and the lead time that matters. Ask us for the precise dates in your travel year.

Travel insurance

The boring part that matters most.

We arrange cover through our partner Kiwi Holiday Insurance. More useful than the policy itself is the conversation: what's actually covered if a parent's pre-existing condition flares up in Delhi, what happens if you have to cancel, and how medical cover works on a multi-country itinerary.

Medical & evacuation

The reason insurance exists. Check the limits, not the price.

Cancellation

Covers the fare you've already paid if plans collapse.

Pre-existing conditions

Declarable, often coverable — but never assume.

Baggage & delays

Useful on multi-stop India and China routings.

Your local travel agent

On Kolmar Road, in the middle of Papatoetoe.

We're a walk-in travel agency at 158 Kolmar Road, a minute from Hunters Plaza and the Papatoetoe town centre. Most of our customers live within a few suburbs of the shop, and a good number of them still prefer to come in, sit down and sort the whole trip across a desk.

That's genuinely the fastest way to book a complicated family trip. Passports on the table, everyone's dates in front of you, and the fare confirmed before you leave. If that's easier than a phone call, just come in.

We're also fifteen minutes from Auckland Airport, which matters more often than you'd think — for last-minute changes, and for anyone who wants their documents checked before they fly.
